• What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
It would have been great if the speech-giver had not stand in front of the podium and used a remote control instead. The audience cannot see gestures she makes because of the podium. Also, it would have been a more excellent presentation if the speech-giver had not read her script directly, since her eyes were fixed on the script most of her time.
• What did you like about the speech?
The speaker did a fairly good job on choosing the topic, since her topic was enough to express the vocal variety and it was very interesting too. I liked the way the speech-giver organized her ppt very neatly so that the audience can see what things they should pay more attention to.
What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective? It would have been better, if you used body languages and facial expressions since they make you look more active. Overall, you spoke slowly, which is good for audience to understand your talk. But you could have spoke faster a few sentences for vocal variety.
What did you like about the speech? I liked that you showed us your own example! I think this is the why you could put all the details and explain about the topic very deeply with confidence. Also well-organized ppt helped me a lot to pay attention to your presentation.
