    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
Although the presenter had clear idea and logical reasons, the presentation seemed too plain. I was not able to notice much of a vocal variety until the end when the presenter emphasizes “75 percent” by repeating and varying intonation. Varying intonation or volume of the voice would definitely make the speech sound more interesting. Also, I think it would be better for the presenter to convey more emotion as the topic had some persuasive quality at the end.

    • What did you like about the speech?

The presenter’s voice volume and speech rate was nice to listen. The delivery of speech was very clear and the presenter didn’t look nervous at all. I especially liked her visual aids and how she organized the materials. Because her PPT slides were simple without many texts, they were easily recognizable. Also, as the presenter summarized her three points in the end, I was able to understand the main points better.

    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
I should have used more vocal variety methods to make my speech more dynamic. I thought I used them to some degree. However, after I watched my video, I realized that I should have exaggerate more to make my speech powerful.
This is a persuasive speech and I had some points that I can show my vocal variety methods, but I think I failed to do that. Next time, I should overact and exaggerate more to show those things.

    • What did you like about the speech?
I think several things were improved compared to my first speech.
I practiced my speech more than before, so I felt less nervous than before.
Also, I didn't see any notes while I was speaking and I gave the speech in front of the audience.

    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
More vocal variety would have made her presentation much better. The speech itself was good, but it was kind of plain. I think she could contain more stress or pauses to draw audiences’ attention.

    • What did you like about the speech?
I really liked the topic since political participation of Korean students is hot potato these days. It certainly co me that I should vote. I could see that she prepared for the presentation very much.
