    • The general purpose of the speech was clear. 1

The general purpose of my speech was to inform the audience about ‘high-fat diet', and I think it was pretty clear.

    • The specific purpose of the speech was clear. 1
After hearing my presentation, I think the audience will be able to identify the benefits of high-fat and many people’s misconceptions about fat. Also, I think they can list the high-fat food that is beneficial for our health and diet after hearing my presentation, so I think my specific purpose was clear.

    • The speech organization supported the speech's specific purpose. 3

My presentation was organized with beginning, 3 bodies and conclusion, and I think they supported the specific purpose quite well. However, it would've been better if I had explained briefly about the 3 bodies at the beginning to help the audience get the idea of the main points of my speech.

    • The main points and supporting material contributed to the speech's specific purpose. 1

I think the main points, which were the reason why fat is beneficial for people who are trying to lose weight, the LCHF diet and the people who succeeded losing weight by LCHF diet and some foods that are high in fat, and the ppt slides contributed to the speech's specific purpose quite well. I think my ppt slides were very useful and helped the audience to understand the speech. They were especially helpful when I tried to explain about the negative result of excessive amount of blood sugar and insulin.

    • The beginning, body and conclusion reinforced the specific purpose. 2

I think the coherence of the beginning, body and conclusion was good, so I think they reinforced the specific purpose. I also used expressions like "Let's move on to~" and "We now know that~, then~ ?" to signal that I am moving on to the next idea. I think these helped the audiences to follow and to understand the main points of my presentation.

    • The speaker achieved the specific purpose. 2

I believe that the audience can identify the benefits of high-fat, which is helping us to lose weight, and many people’s misconception about fat after my presentation. I also think they can list the high-fat food that is beneficial for our health and diet, which are pork, beef, fish, and green-leaf vegetables.

    • The speaker appeared confident and sincere, with minimal nervousness. 3

Even though I was and I looked quite confident with loud voice and big gestures during my speech, when I made mistakes and stuttered, I looked a little embarrassed and nervous.

    • The speaker did not rely on notes throughout the speech. 1

Not to rely on notes, I had to prepare and practice a lot. I didn't memorize every single word of my script, but I memorized the ideas that I wanted to talk about and the flow of my presentation. So I used different words and different sentences every time I practiced, but this way of practicing helped me a lot when I took the presentation video.

    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?

As I mentioned above, I think it would've been better if I explained briefly about the main points of my presentation at the beginning. Then, I think the audiences could've followed my speech more easily. Also, I think I shouldn't smile when I make mistakes, because whenever I paused to come up with words, I smiled and I think this made me more nervous.

    • What did you like about the presentation?

I think I spoke in loud voice and made big open gestures which made me look confident. Also, I think my eye-contacts and interactions with the audiences were pretty good. I believe that my hook at the beginning of the presentation was also quite interesting and I'm pretty sure that I got the audiences' attention at the beggining of the presentation thanks to the hook.

The speaker seemed to be fully prepared as she kept on making eye contacts with the audience without looking at any notes.
    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
In some parts, I thought the speech rate was too fast and the speaker seemed a little rushed to give lots of information on time. Considering that the speech is an informative speech which conveys new information to the audience, slowing down and adding pauses may be more effective.
Also, as a male audience, the opening hook failed to grab my attention because I’m not going to wear a wedding dress. I felt like I chose the wrong video.
    • What did you like about the presentation?
The topic and contents were interesting. The presenter seemed to have prepared a lot because there wasn’t any big mistake that I could notice and she looked really confident of herself.
