  1. Sung-Kyung Kang: Doing some posture during the presentaion is impressive. But if he memorize the script and have some height of his voice, it will be more impressive.

    ● The general purpose of the speech was clear.1
The general purpose of my speech was to inform the audience about the benefits that they can get from weight lifting other than weight loss.

    ● The specific purpose of the speech was clear.1
My specific purpose of my speech was to pursuade the audience to consider starting weight lifting by giving 4 specific benefits of weight lifting.

    ● The speech organization supported the speech's specific purpose.1
I started with a confession that we all made the same mistake and the fact that weight lifting was prevalent in the past. Then I moved on to general benefits and elaborated 4 specifics that I wanted to focus on.

    ● The main points and supporting material contributed to the speech's specific purpose.1
Graphic images in the powerpoint presentation aided understanding of 4 other benefits that I wanted to give out and pursuade the audience to start weight lifting.I hope that the images were understandable to the audience.

    ● The beginning, body and conclusion reinforced the specific purpose.1
In the beginning, I started off with general facts about weight lifitng and then began elaborating on the other benefits by showing powerpoint slides. However, I made the conclusion bit short, so more details in the conclusion would help the audience comprehend the 4 benefits.

    ● The speaker achieved the specific purpose.1
I think after listening to my speech, the audience is pursuaded that there are more reasons to start weight lifting other than loosing fats. I also explained that gym trainers would be more than happy to teach the audience how to weight lift.

    ● The speaker appeared confident and sincere, with minimal nervousness.4
It was my 3rd attempt in filming the video so I didn't feel too nervous about it. However, I couldn't help looking at the script.

    ● The speaker did not rely on notes throughout the speech.3
    I memorized the script partially..

    ● What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
I think I used a lot of gestures but I spoke too fast. I was in a hurry because in the previous recording the time was too long. I think I should reorganized the script to make it shorter so that my pronunciation is well heard by speaking slowly.

    ● What did you like about the presentation?
I liked the part where I was able to use my hands and try to look natural. There were some jokes however, it would have been better if i made them more.
