The general purpose of the speech was to inform the benefits of photography and sharing the presenter’s own story. The purpose was clear because she mentioned them in the beginning.
    • The specific purpose of the speech was clear. 1
The specific purpose was to suggest that we should take photos for our own good. Because she mentioned about the benefits of taking photos and talked about how much she enjoys taking photos, the specific purpose was clear. She also had a suggestion in the end.
    • The speech organization supported the speech's specific purpose. 1
The organization helped me to understand her specific purpose. The presenter introduced the two benefits of taking photos by giving the research results and moved on to sharing her own story related to the topic. It was good because I was able to understand better about the practical benefits after hearing the story.
    • The main points and supporting material contributed to the speech's specific purpose. 1
The main points were clear and I liked her supporting material because she used her own photos. Since it was her own picture, the material seemed more authentic and drew the attention of the audience effectively.
    • The beginning, body and conclusion reinforced the specific purpose. 1
The presenter began her presentation by asking questions to the audience. It was a good hook to grab the attention of the audience. In the body, she uses lots of visual aids in the screen and even quotes to help the audience understand the presentation. Also, the presenter clearly states her specific purpose in the end by telling that taking photo is beneficial and not difficult.
    • The speaker achieved the specific purpose. 2
I felt like I wanted to take photos after watching the presentation. It was interesting.
    • The speaker appeared confident and sincere, with minimal nervousness. 2
The speaker looked sincere. I felt her affection for the photography when she shared her own photos. She didn’t seem nervous but didn’t seem confident either.
    • The speaker did not rely on notes throughout the speech. 3
The speaker seemed not fully prepared as she kept on looking at her notes and the PPT slides in the beginning. She got better when she talked about her own stories.
    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
The speech would have been more effective if she had showed more enthusiasm such as making more direct eye contacts or using gestures. I wanted to see more interactions with the audience. Also, she seemed to rely on her notes and PPT by standing beside the computer. It made her look less confident of her speech.
    • What did you like about the presentation?
The topic and contents were interesting. The presenter prepared lots of materials that helped in understanding. I especially liked the use of her own pictures.

    • The specific purpose of the speech was clear. 1
After my presentation, audiences might get information about the benefits of taking photograph that many people might not knew about it. Also, I gave the speech by giving examples of my stories that I felt when I look at the photos that I took many years ago. The specific purpose was quite clear, in my opinion.

    • The speech organization supported the speech's specific purpose. 1
My presentation was organized with beginning, 3 bodies and conclusion. These 3 body paragraphs contain benefits of photograph and about my story so I think it supported quite well. However, my speech might be better if I begin the speech by

    • The main points and supporting material contributed to the speech's specific purpose. 1
The supporting materials helped to give more images to the main point because I used my own photos and what I actually felt.

    • The speaker achieved the specific purpose. 2
I believe that my audiences achieved the benefits of taking photos and want to go for taking photos after listening to my speech

    • The speaker appeared confident and sincere, with minimal nervousness.
Even though I tried to look confident by speak with loud voice but I was nervous and my face got red because I was embarrassed giving speech to audiences and also made some mistakes too.

    • The speaker did not rely on notes throughout the speech.
I think I tried as much as I can to not rely on the notes. However, it seems that I did look at the note sometime. I’ve tried hard to memorize the main keywords that I wanted to deliver to my audiences. This was way better than memorizing the whole speech. Even though that I did some mistakes, I tried to go on by using other word but the same idea.

    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?
It would have been better if I used more gestures. I tried but I couldn’t because I had to press the mouse lots of time. If I used more hand gestures, my presentation would be more interesting.

    • What did you like about the presentation?
I tried not to look at my notes and I think I spoke with confidence by speaking loud voice. Also, I think I did eye-contacts with my audiences pretty well than before. I think that examples of my photos described the information well. Also, background photos that I used in PowerPoint was all I took it by myself. I didn’t stop when I made mistakes. I tried to go on naturally and without stopping the speech.

    • The general purpose of the speech was clear. 1
I think the general purpose of her speech was clear. It was about taking photos as she presented in the first slide of her PPT.

    • The specific purpose of the speech was clear. 1
The specific purpose of her speech was to let you know the joy of taking photos and some tips from her own experience. She used lots of visual materials and I think it was quite effective to emphasize what she tried to talk about, “Photography”.

    • The speech organization supported the speech's specific purpose. 2
She explained two advantages that you’ll get when you get interested in photography. First, it makes mental illness disappeared. Second, it helps you remember some moments of your life. She used the examples of her childhood memories as well. It was not a typical structure of speech but I really enjoyed it as she made her speech like a storytelling book.

    • The main points and supporting material contributed to the speech's specific purpose. 1
She used lots of materials to make the audience interested. For example, there was a moment that she showed the audience the pictures she took. One of the audience, which was her actual friend, was in the picture so I got interested in her speech even more. I think it was very effective that she used lots of images.

    • The beginning, body and conclusion reinforced the specific purpose. 2
I really like when she said “Go on, take photos!” in the end. I think it was a nice ending. However, it would be way perfect if she summarize what she said one more time in the conclusion. The beginning and body was okay.

    • The speaker achieved the specific purpose. 1
I think so because I really wanted to take pictures right after watching her presentation!

    • The speaker appeared confident and sincere, with minimal nervousness. 2
It would be great if her voice was a little bit louder. Her pronunciation and speech was moderate. She used pauses a lot and i think it was quite effective.

    • The speaker did not rely on notes throughout the speech. 2
I could see that she is trying to keep eye contacts to all of the audience. Even though she sometimes glanced at her notes, it was not too much. I was not disturbed by it.

    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective? 2
I would say some texts from her PPT was hard to recognize because of the colour and size of the font. And it would be nice if she use more body gestures.

    • What did you like about the presentation? 2
I really like the way she tells all the stories to us. It felt like listening to grandma. I learned that using someone’s personal experience could be a great weapon when you present something by listening to her speech.
