    • The general purpose of the speech was clear. 1

The general purpose of the speech was telling people about Hip-Hop Therapy. It was clear.

    • The specific purpose of the speech was clear. 1

The specific purpose of the speech was to explain what Hip-Hop therapy is, and how it works in the society. This was also quite clear.

    • The speech organization supported the speech's specific purpose. 1

The speaker started by explaining the steps of how Hip-Hop therapy is done. Then he suggests some quotations of experts related to the field in order to talk about how Hip-Hop therapy gives positive effects in the society. Finally, he talks about his own experience of going to USA to learn Hip-Hop therapy himself. The organization was good.

    • The main points and supporting material contributed to the speech's specific purpose. 3

The supporting material worked fair enough. However, it would have been better if there were less words in the PPT slides. It would have made the audience concentrate more on the speech itself.

    • The beginning, body and conclusion reinforced the specific purpose. 1

In the opening, he began by talking about his own experience of starting Hip-Hop music, which drew attention. In the body, he again used his experience of learning Hip-Hop therapy which was interesting. In the conclusion, he brought a quotation from his beloved Hip-Hop artist. All these factors help his presentation to be reinforced in a positive way.

    • The speaker achieved the specific purpose. 2

I was able to understand what Hip-Hop therapy was after listening to this speech, even though it was a term that I never heard before.

    • The speaker appeared confident and sincere, with minimal nervousness. 1

He had a loud voice which allowed me to listen to the speech with no problem. Also, he made eye contacts with the audience throughout the whole speech. These aspects made me feel that he was confident on what he was presenting, and that he was not nervous.

    • The speaker did not rely on notes throughout the speech. 1

He did not use any note in his speech. It seemed that he memorized all of his speech.

    • What could the speaker have done differently to make the speech more effective?

It would have been a greater speech if he elaborated more on how he would implement Hip-Hop therapy in Korean society because he said that it is his goal.

    • What did you like about the presentation?

I liked the way he constantly used his own experience during the speech. This made me feel that he knew very well about the topic he was dealing with. Furthermore, he did not look stiff and seems well prepared through out the whole speech.
